Join me tonight as we welcome the longest day of the year.As we bask in the sun and offer her 108 modified Sun Salutations. The number 108 is an auspicious number and significance is open to interpretation. But 108 has long been considered a sacred number in Hinduism and yoga. ... According to yogic tradition, there are 108 pithas, or sacred sites, throughout India. And there are also 108 Upanishads and 108 marma points, or sacred places of the body.
We will welcome the warrior in ourselves and each other.
