1. Find a comfortable seat and draw your attention inward to find clarity.
2.Calm your breath. Focus your thoughts on the pros and cons of volunteering. It should not infringe on your self-care or in any way create a hardship for you. You want your heart chakra to be open to this work.
3. Zero in on what you love and feel passionate about-perhaps it's creating art with kids, teaching yoga to seniors, or building a community garden.
4. Figure out if you want to volunteer with a formal nonprofit organization or start your own.
5. Come up with a timeline and an action list. With an open heart, follow your passion.
