Day 18 Adventure: Just Breathe. Prepare to meet your superpower!
Just Breathe! Yup, that's it, that's what I want you to do - Step outside and take 10 deep breathes-
Tune in to and be aware of your breath- the in breath and the out breath. Stay with your breath for the full duration of the breath. The complete in breath, the pause between breaths and the complete out breath.
Know that this breath is your superpower. Your breath can energize you, it can calm you down. It can give you time to respond to a situation instead of reacting. Your breath, your superpower is portable, powerful and free.
For the rest of the days of the challenge try to check in with your breath at least once daily, preferably during your 30+ minutes outside. Access how fast you're breathing, the quality and freshness of the air you're breathing and you can even start becoming aware of where the air is moving — from the North, South, etc. Let yourself drop into the rhythm of the breath perhaps linking your breath with the sound and rhythm of a sleeping tiger breathing deep long smooth breaths.
